Non-invasive accurate diagnosis in Alzheimer's disease
FDNNP-PET, FDG PET and MRI have shown that FDNNP PEt is the most accurate for diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, binding to plaques and tangles. This is one of the most significant breakthroughs in neuro-imaging, because it enables us to evaluate AD non-invasively, whereas a confirmed diagnosis was earlier possible only using MRI as a screening tool with biopsy confirmation.
